Neha has been a senior investor in private equity and public market investment firms such as General Atlantic, Temasek, and Orbis for nearly two decades. Her roots, however, lie in a small family business. She attained her MBA from Harvard Business School and is a CFA charterholder.

Business Services have been a key focus area for Neha over the course of her career. She has learnt what makes the best thrive through deep relationships with management teams and employees at several industry-leading players in the US and Europe. Neha founded Vara to leverage her learnings from these successfully scaled organisations and apply them at smaller enterprises looking for their next phase of growth.

She spent her teenage and college years helping her father manage his construction company. It gave her deep empathy for entrepreneurs and an understanding of the nuances of running a small business. It also made her aware that the highs of building a business come with tradeoffs, especially on the personal front. Vara was setup to provide an exit to founders, when the time is right, while ensuring that their legacy stays alive.

Neha spends her spare time meditating, strength training, and playing the piano.
